Thanksgiving *i'm a little behind

We have a lot to be thankful for!! Thanksgiving Day was spent with friends and family playing and watching football, bottle feeding a lamb, cooking, coloring, and playing. DJ's parents came over in the afternoon to share our feast. My mom, Mimi, sent cards and stickers for the kids. It was a perfect Thanksgiving!

Black Friday was renamed Nature Walk Friday.
We found this little nature trail a couple miles from our house so we went for a morning hike. What we saw was amazing and the kids loved it. It reminded me why I think Florida is such a breathtakingly beautiful state. However, the trail lasted about one and a half minutes before we hit water. Water that 2 toddlers and a lady-carrying-a-baby-who-didn't-want-to-get-wet couldn't cross. So, we turned around and went about 2 minutes in the other direction before we hit more water. We stalled by looking at spiders, pee'ing on the ground (and by "we," I mean Eli and Maci), and "hunting for alligators." The weather was beautiful and the kids were great. WAY better than standing in line, exhausted and cold, only to find out that the store didn't order more than 2 of the item you wanted.
