It's official. I'm on maternity leave for (up to) 12 weeks. I was not supposed to start this early, but 12 hour shifts with patients randomly crashing and causing me a heck of a lot of fast-paced work, very few and often on-the-go breaks (yes, sometimes I do have to eat my lunch while walking to the bathroom), and slim to no chance of being able to go home if I just can't do it made this decision a little easier.
I wish I'd have a baby soon.
