This morning at 7am marked the first whole week of Maci's life. She is doing great. She is starting to gain some weight back and loves to eat. However, she still has her days and nights mixed up which sometimes puts Daddy in a bad mood. We're hoping to turn it around soon! We're hopeful because she did a whole 5 hours last night, but that didn't start until 3am and Mimi gets credit for getting her to sleep that long.
Sunday was filled with more exciting visitors. Elizabeth, Lindsey college roommate and best friend, came down from Jacksonville to spend the day. It was great to catch up with her and it was so sweet for her to make the long journey for the day. Sherry's (Mimi's) friend, Chris, also stopped by and as usually took some incredible pictures of Maci. She's practically a model with the amount of photo shoots she has.
Today was a little sad and scary as Sherry (Mimi) is heading back to Jacksonville. She has been here since Thursday night; helping, supporting, cooking and pretty much keeping us sane. So we'll let you know how our first night back to the 3 of us goes.
Enjoy some pics.

the first day with out a net is by far the scariest. I cried and begged Chad to come home. ;)You guys will do great. Just remember, no one ever says they wish they would have spent more time cleaning and less time with the baby. You 3 are in our prayers. Sleep tight!
I have to say a 5 hour stretch at that time in either of my children's lives NEVER happened (we were looking at a year plus before that really started occurring more than once every few weeks. . ) So Maci's doing fabulous to already have achieved a milestone of that sort!
-As a side note upon hearing about Daddy's crankies in the middle of the night (which is completely normal for any sleep deprived human being): do NOT make any attempt EVER to discuss anything in the middle of the night; just do the task at hand and save the discussion until daylight ;)
